How payout details are checked.

After the gift check, the payment partner separately verifies payout details. A phone and site sign-in do not prove bank-account ownership.

Step by step

Payout sequence

  1. The recipient enters or selects an available method, such as a EUR/SEPA IBAN.
  2. The service checks the IBAN format and checksum.
  3. The payment partner may ask the recipient to verify their identity or the operation, then checks whether the recipient's name matches the bank account.
  4. After a successful check, the payment partner starts the payout and the site automatically updates its status from the partner's response.
Important

Site staff cannot manually mark a payout as successful. Its status changes automatically after confirmation from the payment partner.
